About this course

The increased use of digital technologies has created global demand for digital talent. Despite this, relevant and up-to-date digital skills continue to be the biggest barrier to job success for many individuals. With such demand, it is essential that you have the right digital skills and know-how to kick-start, progress or advance your career.

This course is brought to you in association with The Digital Marketing Institute who create world-class training in digital education. The content of the course has been validated by The Syllabus Advisory Council, composed of representatives from the world’s most influential digital brands such as Google and IBM. The Council works with the Digital Marketing Institute to define the skills agenda and address the global digital skills shortage. This means that your course content is innovative and offers an exceptional opportunity to ensure you’re trained in alignment with the most in-demand digital needs and skillsets.

The course is flexible in its study method, you can log in where and whenever suits you. The training is delivered through a series of tutor lectures, case studies and practical exercises.

* There are 30 hours of courseware. You will need to allow for at least an additional 170 hours of research and consolidation so in total this qualification will take around 200 hours. Once this has been completed, you’ll then be in the position to proceed with the Digital Marketing Institutes professional examination.

Through the study of this course you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the core digital marketing disciplines. At the end of your training you’ll receive a Pitman Training certificate and have the option of undertaking the course examination to validate the knowledge gained throughout the training. This examination will lead to you gaining a ‘Certified Digital Marketing Professional’ certificate and will be well prepared to take up a more evolved role in the overall marketing field1

It is important to note that this is a comprehensive learning programme which will require dedication to ensure the course and associated examination is completed within a 6 month timeframe.
